Using the directory

GTA Events is a free directory of business networking events in the Greater Toronto Area, operated by Reyem Tech. By using the site you agree to these terms. You're welcome to browse, share links to listings, and subscribe to the feed for personal or business use.

Listing accuracy

Listings are compiled from organizer websites and community submissions. We review listings and hold back ones that look inconsistent, but details (dates, times, venues, pricing) can change after publication. Always confirm details on the organizer's registration page before attending. GTA Events is not the organizer of listed events and isn't responsible for cancellations, changes, or what happens at an event.

External links

Registration happens on organizers' own websites. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, which we don't control.

Submitting events & organizations

Submissions must be real business-relevant events in or serving the GTA, and you must have the right to share the information you submit. We may edit listings for clarity, decline submissions, or remove listings at our discretion — including spam, duplicates, and misleading content. Listing is free; there are no paid placements.

Intellectual property & submissions

The GTA Events name, site design, and software belong to Reyem Tech. Event names, logos, and descriptions belong to their respective organizers and appear here to identify their events. By submitting an event or organization, you confirm you have the right to share that information and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, edit, and distribute the listing — including in our feeds — for the purpose of running the directory. You keep ownership of your content, and you can have it removed at any time (see below).

No warranties, liability & acceptable use

The site is provided free of charge, "as is" and without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reyem Tech is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site — including inaccurate listings, missed or changed events, downtime, or errors.

Don't misuse the site: no spam or misleading submissions, no attempts to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service, and no interfering with other visitors' use. We may block users, addresses, or networks that abuse the site.

Automated access & data use

The listings on GTA Events are a curated database that takes ongoing work to compile, verify, and maintain. You may not scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the site, or reproduce or republish substantial parts of the directory (including for training datasets or competing services), without our prior written permission. This doesn't apply to normal search-engine indexing, to sharing links to individual listings, or to personal use of our RSS feed — which is the supported way to consume new listings programmatically. If you'd like access to the data for something else, email contact@gta.events and ask; we're reasonable.

Your content, removals & contact

If a listing concerns your event or organization and you want it corrected or removed, email contact@gta.events and we'll act on it promptly. We may update these terms as the site evolves; the date above reflects the latest change. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
