The short version
GTA Events is a free directory. You can browse it without an account. We collect basic usage analytics and, if you submit an event or organization, the contact details you provide. We don't sell data, and you can ask us to correct or delete anything about you by emailing contact@gta.events.
What we collect
- Usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics tools to understand how the site is used (pages visited, buttons clicked). When you view or interact with an event listing we also log technical details such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the page you came from, to measure which listings are useful and to protect the site from abuse.
- Cookies. The site sets a session cookie needed for basic functionality (for example, remembering your filters and theme). We do not use advertising cookies.
- Submissions. If you submit an event or organization, we store the details you provide — including contact email addresses, website URLs, and social media profiles — so we can review, publish, and maintain the listing.
Third-party services
Some pages load content from third parties: Google Maps (event location maps), Google Tag Manager, and Bunny Fonts (web fonts). These services may receive your IP address as part of serving that content. Registration for events always happens on the organizer's own website — we never handle event payments or attendee registration data.
Public listing data
Event and organizer listings are compiled from publicly available organizer websites and from direct submissions. If a listing includes information about you or your organization that you want corrected or removed, email us and we'll take care of it.
Your choices & contact
