DESCRIPTION:Dig into the fun and help us grow Vaughan’s urban forest! Celebrate LEAF’s 30th Anniversary with a family-friendly afternoon planting native trees and shrubs in McClure Meadows Park. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Planting event will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Please wear closed-toed shoes or boots (no sandals)\, gardening gloves if you have them (extras will be available)\, and appropriate clothing. The event runs rain or shine. All LEAF events count toward secondary school volunteer hour requirements.
